Mommy D's sense of humor has been noticeable to the public and this is one of the reasons why she gained a lot of fans kahit bago pa lang sya sa showbiz world.
In the movie Ang Tanging Pamilya, she plays the role of Sam Milby's mother from the province. Dito nya ipinakita ang kanyang galing sa pag-arte. She co-stars with former president Joseph Estrada and the comedy queen Ai-ai de las Alas.
Aside from her movie stint, kaliwa't kanan din ang kanyang mga projects as a commercial endorser. He is also set to release a new song album.
