Amanda Colley Van Cooll wins Survivor Philippines (Palau)
Taliwas sa mga naunang balita, hindi ang modelong si Jef Gaitan kundi ang tisay na construction worker na si Amanda Colley Van Cooll ang idinekalarang sole survivor sa katatapos pa lamang na reality show ng GMA 7 na Survivor Philippines (Palau).
It has been a close fight between the Amanda and the beautiful transexual Justine Ferrer who got the second place. Nakakuha si Amanda ng four votes from the seven jury members while Justine only got three. Meanwhile the rumored suppose-to-be-winner Jef Gaitan did not get any votes from the jury.
The jury was composed of castoffs: Marvin Kiefer, Tara Macias, Echo Caceres, Suzuki Sadatsugu, Shaun Rodriguez, Mika Batchelor, and Charles de Vera Fernandez.

Amanda, being the sole survivor, took home the three million pesos tax-free prize na sabi naman niya ay ipapambayad sa kanyang mga utang at para na rin sa pagsisimula sa kanyang dream business na chicken farm.
Si Justine naman ay hindi rin lugi dahil mayroon na kaagad syang sariling career sa telebisyon. Sooner or later, he will appear in a daily show in QTV Channel 11 na sister station ng GMA 7.
