Nanay Dionesia is now Mommy D

Katulad ng pag-arangkada ng career ni Manny Pacquiao sa sports, umaarangkada rin ang showbiz career ni Nanay Dionesia na ngayon ay officially called by the press as Mommy D as she wants herself to be called.

Mommy D's sense of humor has been noticeable to the public and this is one of the reasons why she gained a lot of fans kahit bago pa lang sya sa showbiz world.

In the movie Ang Tanging Pamilya, she plays the role of Sam Milby's mother from the province. Dito nya ipinakita ang kanyang galing sa pag-arte. She co-stars with former president Joseph Estrada and the comedy queen Ai-ai de las Alas.

Aside from her movie stint, kaliwa't kanan din ang kanyang mga projects as a commercial endorser. He is also set to release a new song album.

Dont call her anymore as the old Nanay Dionesia or Mommy Dionesia. She now has a new name. She's Mommy D.

Kristine Hermosa naging pasaway sa Dahil May Isang Ikaw

Rumors have spread that Kristine Hermosa has been irresponsible as a cast of the soap opera "Dahil May Isang Ikaw."

Ayon sa mga balita, palagi raw nali-late ang actress sa set kaya naaabala ang ibang cast at mga eksenang dapat kunan. She is the main reason kung bakit palaging napa pack-up ang taping ng nasabing teleserye.


Nakahanap naman ng kakampi si Kristina when her co-star Lorna Tolentino defended her against her distractors. Ayon kay Lorna, Kristine has always been responsible and professional in her job. She plays her role excellently at wala naman daw naging problema sa kanya. Wala umanong katotohanan ang mga balita na naging sakit ng ulo si Kristine sa kanilang teleserye.

Lorna further explained that it's unfair for Kristine to be accused that way because she's given her all-out support to the project.

Manny Pacquiao and Krista Ranillo palaging nagkikita

How true nanaman itong kumakalat na balita na parang napapadalas daw ang pagkikita ng pond-for-pond king na si Manny Pacquiao at ng sexy actress na si Krista Ranillo?

Unang nagkita raw ang dalawa sa isang shopping mall sa Hong Kong na magkasama. Rescue to the max naman ang side ng young actress and said na aksidente lang daw ang pagkikita ng dalawa. Sa katunayan nga raw Krista was with her friends during that time.

During a relief operation headed by Manny, the two was allegedly caught together na magkasama nanaman. But Manny requested the press not to take the photos na kasama si Krista para wala na raw gulo.

Ano kaya ang reaksyon ni Jinky Pacquiao dito? Parang napapansin ko lang...kiringking ni Manny, kiringking din ni Mommy Dionesia. Like mother, like son!

Pilipinas Got Talent vs Talentadong Pinoy

Sooner or later, there will be a rival between Kris Aquino and Ryan Agoncillo sa kanilang hosting career.

Alam naman siguro natin na si Ryan Agoncillo ang host ng popular na show ng ABC 5 na Talentadong Pinoy while Kris Aquino will be the host for the ABS-CBN's new talent program na Pilipinas Got Talent.

On Ryan's part, he does not take it as a competition. He doesn't mind if there will be a rival between him and Kris. He is even happy because the concept of his program has been already known to the viewers, which is the reason why there's is Pilipinas Got Talent. In this way, Filipinos will be given more opportunities to showcase their talent and be discovered.

Talentadong Pinoy is currently TV5's top-rating show while Pilipinas Got Talent is a franchise of "Got Talent" shows similar to America's Got Talent and Britain's Got Talent.

Hindi pa nga natatapos ang airing ng reality TV show ng GMA 7 na Survivor Philippines (Palau) ay kumakalat na ang usapan of who was declared the winner and sole survivor.

Ayon sa mga balitang kumakalat, Jef Gaitan was declared winner and survivor sa nasabing show. Gaano naman kaya katotoo ito?

Matatandaan na ganito rin ang nangyari noong una sa Survivor Philippines (Thailand) kung saan nauna ring kumalat ang balita sa kung sino ang nanalo kesa pagtatapos ng TV airing nito. Miss Earth 2009 to be held in Boracay

The ninth edition of Miss Earth (2009) beauty pageant is set to be held in the majestic island of Boracay.

This is the very first time the event will be held outside Metro Manila. Eighty (80) candidates from around the world will attend and compete for the title at the Boracay Ecovillage and Convention Center on November 22.

Miss Philippines-Earth 2009 Sandra Seifert from Negros Occidental will represent the country for this year. The reigning Miss Earth Karla Paula Henry is also a Filipina.

Miss Earth was initiated and organized to further strengthen the awareness of the people around the world in protecting our Mother Earth. This is considered as the third largestbeauty pageant in the world next to Miss World and Miss Universe.

Nonito Donaire donates P1 million to Ondoy victims

Napakabait naman ng bagong Pinoy Boxing Champ na si Nonito Donaire. Namigay sya ng tumataginting na P1 million mula sa kanyang sariling bulsa para sa mga nasalanta ni Ondoy.

According to Donaire, ang pera daw ay mula sa maha na Pangulong Gloria na ibinigay sa kanya as a reward for giving another fame to the country during his recent victory fight. Instead of using the money for his own needs, napagpasyahan nya na ipamigay na lamang ito sa mga biktima na mas nangagailangan sa mga panahong ito. So cute! Hindi ka lang gwapo, mabait pa!

"I know that many of our kababayans need help at 'yung iba ay hindi pa inaaboot ng mga rescuer at relief goods, kaya I decided to donate the P1 million I've received from our President Arroyo.The money will go a long way...I want to give more, that's why I will also help in the distribution of relief goods together with the volunteers," Donaire said.

Concert For Ondoy Victims

Isang fund-raising concert na pinamagatang "Kaya Natin Ito" ang gaganapin sa Araneta Coliseum ngayong darating na ika-14 ng Nobyembre.

This project was organized and intiated by Ogie Alcasid with his talent manager Girlie Rodies and actor/director Rowell Santiago in cooperation with the Big Dome.

Talagang napakalaking event ito because some of the artists and performers will take time out to participate and share their talent for this event. Ayon pa kay Ogie, they have already coordinated with the talent managers of these performers. Some have already confirmed to participate habang ang iba naman ay inaayos pa ang schedula para lang makadalo dito.

All the proceeds from the concert will be donated to the Philippine National Red Cross and Gawad Kalinga for the victims of Ondoy who lost their homes and properties after the tragedy.

If you have time para manood, bumili ka na ng ticket. Naalaiw kana, nakatulong ka pa.
